Sponsorship

The overall objective of the Project is to enable a broad public conversation about "Peace and War in the Heartland. What has history taught us?" Consequently, the Project offers minimal coordination of events, and acts mainly as a Clearinghouse for sharing information. Schedules and selected information about Events will be posted on this website. See, "Clearinghouse," "Events," and Calendar.

If your organization wants to sponsor an event, please note the following guidelines and facts.

• Event sponsorship is the sole responsibility of the sponsoring organization.
• Event content and format is determined by the sponsor.
• Event marketing, expenses, revenues and other normal business and operational factors are the sole responsibility of the sponsor.

• There are no "official" Minnesota 8 or "Peace and War in the Heartland" project events, other than those directly managed by the Project Director. Nothing should be listed or posted on an Event publication, in any media, which indicates that it is a Project or Minnesota 8 approved event.

• Event topics cover a broad range, see a partial list of sponsorship areas.
• Event presentation formats are varied, see a partial list of presentation formats.

• Event sponsors are invited to send publication, scheduling, program content and contact information to the Project Director to be posted on the Project Clearinghouse. Selection of materials to be posted on the website is totally at the direction and discretion of the Project Director.
