Newsclippings 1970-1973

The newsclipping file covers most of the articles, editorials and letters to the editor during the period from the arrest through trial, conviction, sentencing and then final release from prison.

Print out the following navigation notes before opening the file.

  • The images have been scanned from yellowed newspapers at 300 dpi.
  • Some pages appear to be empty. They are not. Click on the hyperlink file name. Save to an image management program. View and print from there. See, below.
  • Many appear very faint because they are copies of copies. Original newspaper copy, for most, is available at the Minnesota Historical Society archives at www.pals.msus.edu/pals/ (hit "search webpals" (upper right of screen), then "search pals" (main bar in middle of screen), then "all pals libraries" (click on "GO"), then search on "Kroncke").
